London Probation has a post that works with all types of hate crimes for further information please contact the Equality and Diversity Directorate. His post offers support to staff case managing sentenced offenders, those under going reports and those in custody who pose significant risk on release. The service has developed a tool kit for practitioners that is available and has been trained to staff and voluntary sector organisations active in tackling hate crime in the community.

European Funded projects Reducing Hate Crime in Europe (RHCE) projects 1 and 2
This focused on crimes of race and faith based hate. The project was led by London Probation and involved participation from University of Kent, NIACRO (Northern Ireland), University of Bremen (Germany), International Initiatives for cooperation (Bulgaria) and Mid-Dlam Ghad-Dawl (Daritama foundation, Malta). AGIS Scoping Report
This again focused on crimes of race and faith based hate and also looked at the impact of violent radicalisation on community based punishments as well as extending the partnership to the Netherlands. The project was led by London Probation and involved participation from University of Kent, NIACRO (Northern Ireland), University of Bremen (Germany), International Initiatives for cooperation (Bulgaria) , Mid-Dlam Ghad-Dawl (Daritama foundation, Malta) and Forum Multi - cultural Institute (Netherlands).
