Tenders
The Corporate Procurement
Unit is committed to stimulating the market and promoting
transparency and fairness. As such, it encourages all tenders from
£20,000 - 140,000to be notified on both this
website and the Supplier Route to Government
site.
As a Non-Departmental
Public Body, London Probation advertises all relevant opportunities
over £140,000 in accordance with EC Directive 2004/18/EEC and the
Public Contract Regulations 2006. ‘Residual services’ over this
threshold will also normally be advertised through the
Official Journal of the European
Union (OJEU) but usually on a
voluntary basis only.
Submitting innovative
ideas
The Corporate Procurement
Unit seeks to add value in everything it does and especially seeks
to work with suppliers to reduce reoffending and improve value for
money within London Probation’s operational delivery. Some
suppliers often have ideas that could assist this but have little
or no opportunity to present it to the business.
To address this,
suppliers are encouraged to initially share their ideas through our
team and we will pass to the most appropriate person for their
consideration. However, we cannot guarantee that ideas can be
progressed beyond concept stage. In addition, because of public
sector procurement restrictions, we may need to compete via tender
in order to progress such requirement.
Where such ideas are
submitted by suppliers, London Probation will ensure that all
information is managed in a commercially sensitive manner and with
integrity surrounding potential property rights. Please read
our Non-disclosure
committment.
If you have an innovative
idea (for example, a new programme for offenders) and would like
the opportunity to share this with London Probation for
consideration please complete our innovative
concept formand
return it to:

General Expressions of
Interest
If you are interested in
working with London Probation but there are no specific contract
opportunities, the Corporate Procurement Unit welcomes your
submission of a general expression of interest.
Please complete our
expression of
interest form, which allows you to submit your company details.
This will allow us to maintain a supplier database and market
awareness and, where possible, contact you to inform you of up and
coming opportunities. Please note however that it is not possible
for us to guarantee such approach to you in the future and you are
advised to regularly visit this website, the Supply2Gov website and
the Official Journal of the European Union.
