Sustainability is the process whereby organisations meet their needs for goods, services, works and utilities in a way that achieves value for money on a whole life basis in terms of generating benefits to the organisation, society and the economy whilst minimising damage to the environment.

London Probation recognises that whole life costs and the culture of sustainability must be considered as an integral part of achieving value for money. Similarly we expect our suppliers and partners to demonstrate ongoing commitment to our policy.
