What London Probation Buys

For 2006/2007, London Probation has an approximate budget of £50m to cover a wide range of goods, services and works. Typical purchases include:

 

  • Offender support programmes (e.g. Unpaid Work, forensic mental health, drugs and alcohol support, domestic abuse and sex offender programmes and training and employment search).

 

  • Stationery and IT consumables

 

  • ICT hardware

 

  • Office equipment and furniture

 

  • Commercial and personal vehicle lease

 

London Probation has a temporary staff supply partner - Reed Employment, who acts both as a master vendor for administrative staff and vendor neutral for all other temporary staff needs.

 

In addition, the Home Office serves our organisation through two of its own outsourced contracts for estates and IT managed service, delivered by Morrisons and Steria respectively.
