Mission Statement

The Corporate Procurement Unit aims to develop strategic, professional procurement practices throughout the organisation which will develop and sustain its competitive advantage.  By facilitating commercial and cultural change, the Corporate Procurement Unit will ensure London Probation Trust delivers value-driven, effective public services.

Valuing, training and empowering our staff is key to encouraging best practice, commercial innovation and opportunism.  Our management and staff will lead by example; constructively challenge the status quo; and support our colleagues, suppliers and customers to make a difference in reducing re-offending and improving community welfare.

We will deliver exceptional customer service in all our dealings with our stakeholders, demonstrating integrity and ethical behaviour at all times as ambassadors of both London Probation Trust and the procurement industry as a whole.

We aim to create value and make a difference in everything we do.

Provider Charter

London Probation Trust recognises the key role that suppliers play in supporting and helping to achieve it’s objectives.  The provider charter has been developed to set out what our providers can expect from us, as well as what support we need from providers.  We aim to make our procurement processes transparent , fair and sustainable so as to provide, through our supply base, even better value for money to London Probation Trust and ultimately the taxpayer.
